Your May PEAT Update – What’s Shifting, Evolving & Beginning
Hi Friend,
I wanted to share a few updates and thoughts with you. It’s clear to me that we’re living in some pretty unique times. There’s been so much shifting—globally and personally. And while each of us has our own story, I believe we’ve all felt the waves of change over the last few years.
For me, it felt like there was a before, a during, and now a very different kind of after. Many of the communities I once felt part of changed or drifted apart. And while some people have slowly begun to re-emerge into connection, it’s been cautious, different, and a little uncertain. The world feels smaller in some ways, yet more complex in others.

During this time, I’ve found myself turning inward—spending more time with my close circle and leaning into the spaces that feel steady and real. And for me, one of those spaces is this work—PEAT. It’s the one container I’ve stayed deeply engaged with. It feels like home, and I’m so glad you’re here.
If we haven’t met before, I’m Bianca—therapist, teacher, co-founder of PEAT, and someone who has been on this journey of body-mind connection for well over a decade. This work isn’t just something I teach—it’s something I live and breathe every day. Like many of you, I’ve been through my own challenges, my own healing, and I know how powerful it is to have tools, support, and people who get it.
I hear people say often, “I just want to find my people.” The ones who really understand, who are sensitive, reflective, and on the path of conscious awareness. The ones who take ownership of their story and can meet life—honestly, with heart. If that’s you, you’re in the right place.
I’ve asked myself many times over the last couple of years: Why have I dedicated so much to this training, this space, this work?
The answer is simple: because there is magic in watching someone come home to themselves. When you reconnect with your own agency—your ability to feel, to choose, to move forward with clarity and grace—everything changes. You start to know the difference between what’s yours and what’s not. You become the conscious guide of your own experience.
And that’s what PEAT is here for. Gillian and I have built something grounded, practical, layered, and full of possibility. A structure that holds you—so you can expand and shape it however you need.
